Kindergarten and Childcare Centres
We offer an informative but fun session with one of our qualified rangers suitable for young children.
Our rangers will guide your group and the hands on activities will engage these youngsters to discover the wonders of our Australian native animals.
ALL VISITS CAN INCLUDE:
- Private tuition and HANDS-ON encounters with a wide variety of Australian wildlife!
- THE BIG CROC FEED!!!
- Hand feeding of the free-ranging animals such as kangaroos and water birds.
- Meet some rare and endangered North Queensland wildlife, including cassowaries, quolls and northern bettongs.
Supervision
The Billabong Sanctuary has company policies regarding supervision requirements. One adult for every ten students is required when not supervised by a Ranger.
Costings for Kindy/Child Care Centres
- Children under 4 years are admitted free to Billabong Sanctuary.
- Concession rates for children 4 years and over is $11.25.
- If you do have a group of more than 10 paying children, we allow 1 adult free entry.
- All other adults are $27.00

Remember to bring hats, water and plenty of sunscreen!Mozzie repellent's a great idea in summer too!
Sausage Sizzle
Billabong's Sausage Sizzle can add MORE fun to your day. We provide you with morning tea (cordial, fruit and biscuits) and lunch too (cordial, fruit and a sausage sandwich! Yum!!!). All this for just $5.00 per person.
