Supervision

The Billabong Sanctuary has company policies regarding supervision requirements. One adult for every ten students is required when not supervised by a Ranger. High School groups are therefore encouraged to book their visit to coincide with the duration of the lesson (approx 2 1 / 2 hrs inc. a meal break) as there will be a ranger present for this time. You and your students are more than welcome to have “free-time” after the lesson, but the adult to student ratio of 1:10 must be met.

Working Outside

Working outside can be hot and thirsty work! So remember to bring hats, water and plenty of sunscreen! Mozzie repellent's a great idea in summer too!

Sausage Sizzle

Billabong’s Sausage Sizzle can add more fun to your day.

We provide you with morning tea (cordial, fruit and biscuits) and lunch (cordial, fruit and a sausage sandwich)
All this for just $5.00 per person
